What does 1:1 time with my designer look like?

When do you measure my space?

When filling out the design questionnaire, simply click "I'll provide these later" option and Design Allure will do the measuring for you at the time of your consultation.

How long will it take receive my initial design concepts?

Most initial design concepts will be received within two weeks of your initial consultation. Your designer will confirm a timeline with you following your initial consultation.

What do I do when I receieve my initial design concept?

Once your design concept is complete we give you immediate access online so you can view your design. From here you can choose to leave your designer feedback within your online design studio, or schedule a free 30 minute consultation to review your design with your designer, make minor changes and then we'll button up your final design!

Can I request a design concept revision?

Yes! If we got your initial concept all wrong or you want to change a few things here and there, that is OK. We include one additional revision for your design at no additional charge to you so that we may try again! Additional revisions are $50.00 each.

What do I do when I receive my final design concept?

Now that your design is complete it's time to start putting your plans into to action! You sit back and relax, Design Allure will facilitate the rest!  We'll keep your project updated online for each products current status: from "ordered", "received" and "installed," in order to help you stay informed and  organized from the comfort of your own home!

Who does the purchasing?

Design Allure will purchase all of your products on your behalf for your design. First we will invoice you for the total amount due. Once received, we will get to work ordering right away. Once all of your items have been received, we will schedule your day of installtion.

Who will receive my items?

After your purchase has been completed, Design Allure will ship all of your project items to our warehouse where we will receive and inspect all items for missing parts and/or damages. Should we receive a damaged item, or if an item is missing, we will report the issues to our vendors immediatly on your behalf.

Where will my items be stored?

Design Allure will warehouse all of your project items in our very own warehouse where we will track, receive, warehouse, assemble and get ready for your final day of installation.

Who will assemble my stuff?

Design Allure uses a third party company called HandyBook to assemble your items prior to your day of installation. Pricing on this does vary based on what items need to be assembled. However, once you have received your final design concept, Design Allure will provide a quote for your assembly services and you will be able to see that on your final invoice.

Who does the heavy lifting on the day of installation?

For the day of your design instal, Design Allure partners with a third party moving company. Portland's Finest prides themselves on delivering exceptional service every single time. Design Allure will provide an estimate based on the scope of work for the movers time on your final invoice. Please note, our movers have a 3/hr. minimum at a rate of $150/hr.

What does my final big reveal look like?

On the day of installation, we ask that you not be present in the home so that we may concentrate solely on the tasks at hand. There are several moving parts on instal day and we wouldn't want to overwhelm you!

Once we are finished buttoning up every single detail, we will bring you back in for your final big reveal!
