VACANT HOME STAGING | SW Canyon Treasures

Up in the hills of Southwest Portland, you will find a quaint, family neighborhood that immediately brings warmth to your heart. This beautiful SW Canyon home was such an incredible project for our team to participate in! For this Home Staging, our team of experts curated a specific Modern Farmhouse Design to showcase the home for what it is - a spaciously sweet family home.

In this article, we will be breaking down our Home Staging Process, room by room, while including our goals for each space, the elements within the design, and specifically how we configured each space in a chic and funcitonal way.

LIVING ROOM

Immediately walking into the home, we are introduced to the Formal Living Room. When collaborating on the design of this space, our home staging experts' main goal was to showcase the scale of the space, while honoring the original style.

Using pieces such as the medium sized sofa and accent chairs introduces the element of comfort into the room, while showing potential buyers the best ways it can function. Accessories such as the throw pillows, blankets, and the area rug added in texture and character to the space to complete the look. In addition, we incorporated cooler tones to compliment the gray walls.

DINING ROOM

In the Dining Room, our home stagers' main goal was to capture the scale of the room. To do this, we incorporated a Modern Farmhouse dining table to carry the style throughout the home. Using accessories such as the wall sconces and slip covered dining chairs created a formal feel to the space, while showcasing it for family with the use of the Windsor style chairs. The possibilities for this dining room are endless! In addition, we brought out the scale of the room by using six dining chairs to assist potential buyers in envisioning the potential that this room truly obtained.

KITCHEN

Directly to the left of the Formal Dining Room, we are greeted with the large and functional kitchen. To showcase this space to the best of our abilities, our team was sure to use multiple counter-groupings which included cutting boards, canisters and greenery to represent the scale of the kitchen appropriately. In addition, the wooden bowls add in that texture that every design needs.

FAMILY ROOM

After walking back through the dining room, a great room appears. The possibilities for this space are endless! Our home staging experts immediately knew that this would be best showcased as a family living room.

Our main goal of this design was to create a space that the entire family could enjoy. The medium sized sofa, plush accent chairs, and side tables represented the perfect level of comfort for this room! In addition, we incorporated a home office nook that was slightly separated from the rest of the room, but close enough to be involved with the rest of the family activity in the space.

MASTER BEDROOM

As we walk down the hallway, the master suite awaits! To compliment the spacious and bright elements of this room, our home stagers went with a design that incorporated warmer ones, and created that luxurious feel that no potential buyer can resist!

Accessories such as the tufted headboard and blue accent pillows incorporated that relaxed feel. In addition, to showcase the space as a whole, we included a bench that could serve endless function!
